Description
“One of my favourite places in Olhão is the fish market where I buy seafood which I print using the
Japanese printmaking techniques called gyotaku. After a printing session I clean off the non-toxic inks and then cook and eat the seafood. If this is not possible I clean them and place in the deep freeze to be printed again. The spotted sea bass or baila as it’s commonly called is a delicious fish to eat and beautiful to look at.” – Rachel Ramirez
